About Clay

Clay Greenfield began his racing career in Tennessee competing in the Jr Late Model division in 1997. He then ascended the motorsports ranks to Legends cars, Dwarf cars, and Baby Grands. Greenfield spent several seasons racing NASCAR Late Models at the historic Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway before traveling throughout the southeast racing in the UARA-STARS Asphalt Late Model touring Series. Driving for ARCA ReMax car owner, Wayne Peterson, Clay started 32nd and finished 12th in his ARCA ReMax Series debut at Salem Speedway.
In 2009, Clay earned a Degree in Business from Austin Peay State University , In 2010, Clay made an impressive debut in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) at Martinsville Speedway, one of the toughest short tracks on the NASCAR circuit. He started 33rd and finished 21st. He went on to compete in seven more NCWTS events. His performance and personality off track has attracted new fans and increased his name recognition within the sport.
Over the span of his career, Clay has won 7 Championships, 2 Rookie of the Year Awards and been voted Most Popular Driver. Away from the track, Clay donates his time to as the Director Of Media for the Dawn Stanfill Foundation. A children’s charity benefiting families affected by pediatric cancer.
